I want to use some quiet minutes to thank Benido, who went through a lot of work in relaunching our blog section. He needed not only to develop the idea of the different blogs for different blogger group, but also had to talk to every single blogger, motivate them, give them new accounts.

Furthermore, he had to transfer many older blog posts to the new system - sadly, there was no automatism available. And of course he had to coordinate the code & design tasks around the projekt. Great work, and it really got me motivated to blog!

The blonde guy here in this pic is our allrounder Benido. Considering that he already has a full-time job with managing the spanish community, the blog project was nearly a pas-time for him ;). In the right half of the picture you can see the female bouncer at the entrance of our VIP lounge on our last big party that was exclusive to our Black Members. With an eye for the photographer, we even can see Fenris in the left background!

Wait, there was something. Right: Benido, Bouncers, Business. I just wanted to cry a little bit about the fact that we get so little job applications even though we seek so many new employees. We need web developers, web designers, community managers for many languages. Also another controller would be a great addition to our team!

Of course, our jobs section isn't always up-to-date - and maybe our job descriptions are not perfect. But know, this is a great team and I bet some of you guys would fit in just perfectly. Or maybe you know a friend who would? So help a friend to help yourself: Because every single good addition to our team will mean positive effects on PokerStrategy and for our whole community!

So, now I had my revenge by bothering you with some recruiting problems - you can prevent me to go wild with such topics by asking me questions or giving me topics I should write about here in our confidential blog, which is in a way the corporate blog of PokerStrategy.

Since this is my first post on this blog: Hi there.
I'm havox aka Lars - possibly known as the news-man for the German PokerStrategy-site. So I'm gonna join the re-activated Xantos and post some interessting new things here, too. So what do I have to say?

Yep, right: 10 partner sites aren't enough. What could we do to offer our members the best sites and bonus in the web? We add one more partner:

Ladbrokespoker! There will be a 100% up to $1.000 deposit bonus for this site on PokerStrategy in the next days. Sadly this bonus won't be available for the German users (Ladbrokes doesn't accept users from Germany!).

But anyways, I guess this is a nice news for the many other PokerStrategy languages. So, there are some things to do before ladbrokes joins PokerStrategy - back at work!

First, I want to thank ZarvonBar and Indy1701 for being so quick in giving me my first tasks for the confidential blog. The questions are large-scale, but maybe this is good for a beginning.

They asked me to talk about coming features for the website of PokerStrategy, especially about community features like individualised avatars and private messages.

And indeed, we have some iron in our fire. Last year we began to notice that our demand for new features for our community was much larger than our capabilities to develop, implement, introduce, and care for them. This is because PokerStrategy grows much faster than we can find new skilled web developers and web designers. (So if you know one, please let me know!)

So we began searching for partners with whom we could realize some more advanced stuff so that the web technology could keep pace with our community and the demand of our great users.

Now, some months later, we found the people we were looking for and already started working with them. This year, we plan two releases of a major new feature for PokerStrategy. While I am not allowed to tell you too much about it, some things can be leaked:

1. Private Messaging will return
2. More individualised user profiles will be possible
3. The board software will be completely renewed
4. Both releases are scheduled for this year

Especially since the releases will be some months apart from each other, we hope that we can present you release one nearer to now than christmas ;)

Besides that, we also concentrate to strengthen the most important thing: what we do for you around poker.  Let me share two ambituous goals with you:

• * Elephant shall be the best software of its kind
• * Our No-Limit content shall be as good as our Fixed Limit content
• * Our videos shall be competing with the best videos around

We know that all these things will be hard work, but we also know that we have you: our great community. There is no community in the whole world that is comparable to PokerStrategy in terms of quality, quantity and user involvment at the same time. We know that we can make it and we also know that a lot of you will always help us in doing so.

Just like our current Fixed Limit grandmasters are the children of Korn, in the future with our increasing experience and your increasing skills, we will be able to make a great leap forward in terms of quality in all areas.

Hello dear fellows in our community,

finally we managed to establish our new blog system. Most of the credit goes to Benido, who is not only our Spanish community manager, but was also responsible for this projekt - and of course to the IT, who realized the technical part.

I hope that we all now get not only new motivation for a few days, but really keep up a nice level of activity in our blogs. Because there is so much to talk about and because if there is nothing new on a blog if you visit it after some days, you will quite probably stop coming back. At least I would do so.

In my first post I want to ask you what you'd expect from the confidential blog. What aspects about PokerStrategy do you want to learn more? Basically, there are dozens of topics. Developments in the poker industry, planned new content, planned new features. Fun stories from our office. Dark secrets of our private lifes. Well. I guess you have to decide :)

I will try to do a blog post on every single question you ask and on every single topic you suggest - promised!

20th of february. Damn! This blog was inactive for some time, but I hope right now things are about to change!

As you might have noticed we change our blogs completely, we started back in 07 with wordpress but we decided to change to another system and here we are. The german blogs allready change, the polish community allready has a new blog and Rustem our russian CM will move the russian blog also within the next weeks...

I really have to say the new blog-section has some nice advantages and I really like the result. First of all our blogs right now really fit to the common PokerStrategy-design. On the same hand we have the option to brand our blogs with some nice headers, check out our german blogs, for example the new pro-blog on http://pro.pokerstrategy.com. Checkbehind had a nice layout but there was no chance to enter the forum, our strategy-section or our videos with one click so the integration right now is a lot better I think.

Comments are better, we have differente languages right now and I am pretty sure well have a lot more action - more posts, more comments, more posts, more comments.

I hope to motivate our admins to push this blog as well. I hope havox will be able to update this blog more frequently to keep you up to date with some secrets.

I am kinda scared,  but this time I am really hoping for blog-action! So let's go! ;)
