« "Community" launches soon! | Main | In Between»
At the moment, there is a lot of troubles for our web development teams with our new community module which I talked about in last blog post. But even though this is a temporary strong focus as we need to launch it successfully, it is far from being the only topic coming up in our web development queue.
I will just name a few examples that give you a rough idea - and maybe you got a word or two to say on one of the topics?
Interactive Comments
What if you could answer a question in a comment and not just hope that someone reads it? If you could flag it as being a question, the author of the commented content piece (e.g. a video) would get this question and answer on it. You again would not need to refresh the video hourly to get notified about the answer.
Better Filters
Searching a video on NL100 FR? Or even looking for any content on "check/raise turn"? A powerful content database with search & filter options would bring new life and usability in all major sections at once (videos, articles, glossary, news, coachings).
Storing Hands on the Site
Put a hand or ten in your own repository and link them to friends or put them into a hand rating forum? Realize it even as a small flash replay of the hand? Interacting with the elephant?
Unifiing Logins
Log in at our blogs or shop with your standard PokerStrategy login would be a great relief. Currently, it is always a little annoying. It could even enable shop payments through our Tell-A-Friend and promotion $ accoounts.
Well, and that's just four examples. We've got at least 10 additional projects of similar importance and size in our development area. Add in the one or the other new partner site, our software projects and further development in our community module after releasing the beta - and you see that 2009 will be an exciting, yet work-loaded year for PokerStrategy.com!
